INTRODUCING... BUT MOSTLY EATING (the blog!)


HELLO! Welcome to BUT MOSTLY EATING BLOG!! Starting this blog has been on my mind for
quite some time (I actually had the website saved when I started my food insta) and I'm excited to 
get it started in 2019.

My hope is that BME will be a source of #foodinspo and give you ideas for how to eat healthy and
delicious meals while on a budget. Stay tuned for recipe ideas, restaurant reviews, food diaries, and more!

But for now, a little bit more about how But Mostly Eating came to be:

But Mostly Eating started as an Instagram account in December 2015. I was a junior in college, and I was feeling totally lost. I never felt good, I was constantly tired, and, in general, I just felt so unlike me. But Mostly Eating was a creative outlet that allowed me to have an excuse to take pictures of my food.


My first ever post on But Mostly Eating (Dec. 21, 2015)


I started the account as a place to share beautiful food from restaurants around the world. I slowly

evolved into actually doing some cooking and baking and experimenting in the kitchen.



In January 2018, I decided to challenge myself to a Project 365 (one picture every day). I quickly
realized that for my own health (and for the sake of my wallet) that I needed to get creative
and branch out with the foods I was eating.



Now I'm excited to share even more recipes and other things with you on this website! Let's get started!!
