EASY BREAKFAST IDEAS

I've been on the breakfast struggle bus recently. I'm a huge breakfast person, but I've been traveling recently and when I get home my priority tends to be "what can I quickly grab at the store for an easy lunch and dinner?" and breakfast slips my mind... which means I've been eating whatever I can scrounge together.


I've rounded up some of my favorite easy breakfasts for some inspiration!


AVOCADO TOAST // *cue overused and moderately untrue joke about being a millennial* Avocado toast is good and while I won't die on that hill, I'll fight hard in the battle every time. It's such a great breakfast because it combines carbs and healthy fats, and if you add an egg you get protein too! Avocado has a pretty relaxed flavor (not even sure what that means but let's just go with it) so you can add whatever toppings you want to make it your own.



OVERNIGHT OATS // My fav ONO combo of all time is peanut butter and banana. These ONOs are so filling and delicious, plus have so many good things: fiber, carbs, healthy fats, and more. I eat mine cold but you can microwave them if you want, or instead of making them overnight, make them on the stove in the morning!


OATMEAL // Same thing as ONOs... 1 cup of milk or water, 1/2 cup of oats... boom, you're done. Add in a banana for sweetness, protein powder (or collagen) to thicken it up, spread peanut butter on top, and you have a great breakfast.


WAFFLES // These are some of my favorite things to meal prep (just heat them up in the toaster each morning), but if I can't make them in advance, I love having toaster waffles in my freezer ready to go. For one serving: 1/2 banana, 1/4 cup egg whites, 1 tbsp almond milk, 1 scoop vanilla protein, 1 tsp cinnamon. Boom nailed it. 💯

BANANA BREAD // I've always been a huge fan of banana bread, but I NEVER made it as much as I wanted in college or right after. S/O to one of my favorites, Rachel Mansfield, for this delicious GF and vegan PB banana bread.
